This is me – Viktoria Prantauer
My Professional background
I’m a business and marketing specialist with a strong product focus and expertise in building startups and companies from scratch. I have a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing and skills honed in Product Management and Innovation Methods like Design Sprint 2.0 and Lean Startup.
Being passionate about creating win-win scenarios, I enjoy identifying potential pain points and building MVPs and ecosystems to mitigate them.
For example – In 2019, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The experience inspired me to focus on scaling innovation efforts regarding AI-based products for breast cancer diagnosis. To accomplish this, I partnered with the Hippo AI Foundation to launch an MVP for patient-driven open data projects: viktoriaonezero.org.
As a financial advisor, I learned that I was passionate about creating smart solutions during the 2008 financial crisis. The bank I worked for created the perfect product for uncertain times – a true win-win. From that moment on, I knew – this is what I wanted to learn more about: how to find smart entrepreneurial solutions and find product-market fit.
That’s why I started founding companies in 2012 and, since 2016, getting involved in the Berlin startup environment at very early-stage companies and mostly worked at the intersection of technology, product, design and marketing. When I got diagnosed with breast cancer, I set my heart to providing everyone with access to the same level of care I received. I felt great solidarity and connectedness, and lucky as well: I got diagnosed early enough and targeted treatment. I. AM. ALIVE!
Since then, I have wondered how we can overcome unequal access to healthcare by harnessing exponential technologies and collaboratively developing life-saving solutions by harnessing the power of data. I truly believe technology can help us to build an equal and sustainable future.
