Humans Pave The Way
“Medical data is not a commodity. People’s lives are at stake, and data can save those lives.”
Every person is equally entitled to the best possible diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately, we are far from that, and still, 50 percent of the global community does not have proper access to medical care. We can counteract this through a fair distribution of medical knowledge. Life-saving knowledge in the age of artificial intelligence is based on data. Hoarding data puts it out of reach for those who want to create medical solutions. We need to find ways to share data in solidarity and make it available.
This keynote focuses on patients actively shaping a fair and sustainable healthcare system for tomorrow through collaboration and self-determination.

From Vulnerability to Visibility
Here’s how I used my breast cancer experience to find my voice, by allowing myself to be vulnerable. Even during times of change and uncertainty, we can adapt. But how can we use these periods of transition to our advantage? I will share my experiences as a journey of self-discovery, showing my audience how I learned to look at the world from different perspectives. In my darkest hour, I realized that creating an inclusive and sustainable world through technology is my life’s mission. This inspiration drove me to pursue the opportunity of data collaborations and connect with people worldwide who share the vision for a better world.

Data Ethics By Design
Are you working in a data-driven organization, or is your team building new products or services? There are significant challenges regarding the use of data. Therefore it’s mandatory to think about Data Ethics. I’ll introduce you to the Data Ethics Canvas from The Open Data Institute and show you how to use it. The workshop makes the most sense if you’re in the early stages of your data project or working on a new data-driven product or service. The workshop establishes a go-to data ethics framework and helps people understand, recognize, and manage ethical issues coming with data usage at the start and throughout the project.
Design Sprint 2.0
Design sprint 2.0 is an intense 4-day process where customer-centered teams tackle business problems. Working with expert insights, teams ideate, prototype and test solutions on selected customers. Originally it was developed by Google to map out challenges, explore solutions, pick the best ones, create a prototype and test it. The Design Sprint 2.0 is optimized to work not just in Startups, but also in large organizations.
